Who runs this site

What we collect

We collect only what you type into the quote request form: your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle you are asking about, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else on this site asks you for information, and we do not ask for payment details here. Pricing and payment are handled in person at the shop.

We do not buy information about you from anyone, and we do not build a profile of you from your browsing.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your quote request and to reach you about the work you asked about, and for nothing else. We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Two things about how the message reaches us are worth saying plainly. When you send the form, the details pass through Resend, an email delivery service in the United States, on their way to the shop's inbox. They handle the message, but they don't get it for their own use.

If delivery through Resend fails for any reason, the site falls back to opening your own email app with the details already filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and if you close it instead, nothing reaches us at all.

Beyond these two cases, we share it outside the shop only if the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no social media tracker on any page. We do not know who you are until you tell us in the form.

The fonts and images on this site are served from our own server, so loading a page does not tell any other company about your visit.

One thing does involve another company, and only on the part of the page where it appears: the embedded Google map on the contact section loads from Google, which sees your IP address and is able to set its own cookies. It does not load unless you allow it. Until you do, no request reaches Google at all, and we show the address in plain text instead, with a link you are free to follow.

The notice at the bottom of the screen on your first visit asks about this map and nothing else. To change your mind at any time, use the Cookie Choices link in the footer of every page.

Your answer is stored in your browser's own local storage rather than in a cookie, so it is never sent to us and never leaves your device. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and the notice appears again on your next visit.

How long we keep it

Quote requests live in the shop's email inbox. We keep them for as long as they are useful for answering you and for handling any follow-up work on the vehicle, and we delete them afterwards. We have not set a fixed number of months, so we are not going to claim one here. If you want yours deleted sooner, call or email us and we will do it.

Your choices

Ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information about you we hold,
• correct anything wrong in it, or
• delete it, unless we need to keep it for tax or accounting reasons.

Call or email us using the details above and we will handle it. There is no form to fill in for this.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The date at the top is always the date of the wording you are reading.
